About FK Republika Srpska

FK Republika Srpska was formed in 2003 on the basis of friendship and a game of soccer. It all started from parks which led to tournaments where the team has had the opportunity to travel around the States including the biggest Serbian Annual Soccer Tournament held in North America and Canada.

The team consists of young adults who are passionate about soccer and through consistent practice and rigorous training the team continues their development.

In 2007 the team was accepted into the First Division of Indoor National Soccer League played at Odeum Expo, where the team managed to stay on top with end results of First Place qualifying for Major League of 2008.

The team participated in the upcoming Outdoor First Division of National League, which with extensive practice and teamwork has qualified into Outdoor Major League of 2010, again with end results of First Place.

In 2009 FK Republika Srpska received a total of four awards for the outdoor season from the National Soccer League.

The year 2009 was a great year for the team!

In 2010 the team has added two additional first place trophies to their collection of trophies.

FK Republika Srpska became officially a non-for-profit organization in 2008 in the State of Illinois.

Currently the organization consists of a president, treasurer, secretary and three board members.

The official team coach is Aleksandar Cvijovic and the official team manager is Vesna Tanasic.

Traditional Annual Tournament

FK Republika Srpska hosted their third annual soccer tournament this past July 2010 making it a complete success and an official traditional tournament of FK Republika Srpska.

FK Republika Srpska launched its first website ever in the early 2010, where members and fans can view important updates and upcoming events the team has scheduled.
